Evan Atherton shows how to get Stable Diffusion from a text prompt right in Maya.
If you don’t know, Stable Diffusion is a deep learning (AI) text-to-image model. Essentially you can type in words and get an image out the other side based on your description. Check out this demonstration from Evan Atherton, a Principal Research Scientist for Autodesk, that shows how to get Stable Diffusion working right from Maya.
Evan shows how to connect to the Stable Diffusion API from Autodesk Maya using the Stability SDK.
The setup will allow you to enter a text prompt from Maya and receive a generated image from Stable Diffusion. Atherton also shows how to save the generated picture and apply it to an object’s texture map in one go.
