How to Create and Render Twizzlers in Maya and Arnold

Reimagine Fx shows how to quickly create Twizzlers in Maya using simple techniques and render them with Arnold Render.

This new tutorial from Amar Shinde (Reimagine Fx) shows how to use Maya’s curves and Sweep Mesh to create Twizzlers. The tutorial also covers rendering to get them looking just right.

The Sweep Mesh tool was a welcome addition to Maya, allowing you to create geometry based on curves, perfect for ropes, cables, borders, frames, and other elements, and you get UVs for free.
