Rombo Tools, by Maximilian Tarpini, are some of the most advanced shading nodes available for a production renderer. A new update to Rombo Tools adds its first batch of new utility shaders.
Rombo Tools v1.2 adds a tile blender, triplanar mapper, texture blur, and thickness utility shaders. The new utility shaders will prove to be incredibly useful within production.
The Tile Blender, for example, is an advanced shader that can preserve a texture while tiling it without artifacts. The TriPlanar Mapper offers a much better result for projecting textures from the scene.
