Shawn Astrom shows how to use C4D’s Mograph Module to quickly scatter trees and plants onto terrains.
There are many ways to scatter objects around a scene these days. Most render engines will provide some tools, and DCCs have tools you can use for scattering elements. This new tutorial from Shawn Astrom shows how you can use Cinema 4D’s Mograph Module to spread trees and plants around a terrain with a degree of precision.
If you use Octane Renderer, it has a scatter system included. Check out this tutorial that uses Octane Scatter from SilverwingfVFX (Raphael Rau), which shows how to make super-real-looking dust in Cinema 4D by scattering around some geometry.
