While Patrick Woo still creates tutorials, it’s been a while since we’ve seen one that deals with Maya Expressions. Way back when, Woo had dived into working with expressions in Maya and focused on waves, such as Sin and Cosin. In his latest tutorial, Woo shows how to work with more than one waveform at a time.

The tutorial explores everything possible with multiple waves so they look more organic and less mechanical, regular, and repetitive. “I also show how we can visualize the results of our expressions in the viewport besides relying only on the graph editor,” Woo says.

Working with multiple sine/cosine waves in expressions opens up many possibilities.
