By January 7, 2013No Comments

Expanding on his tutorial for placing objects on a surface in Cinema 4D, Jamie Hamel-Smith shows how you can create randomly placed objects on the surface of an object in a bit of a different way from the previous technique. Here, Jamie looks at distributing and orienting seeds on a model of a bagel using the Cloner.

This tip focuses on the placement of sesame seeds on a baked treat. The Cloner object is extremely helpful in these situations

Using the Cloner in Cinema 4D, Jamie shows how to deal with things like random distribution for the seeds, and how to get the seeds placed on the top of the bagel and orienting the seeds in random directions. Check out Jamie’s post on Sesame Seeds with a Cloner which provides some more information on the tutorial here.
