Creating Proper Interactions Between Cloth and Rigid Bodies in Cinema 4D

By March 23, 2013No Comments

Usually interactions between rigid and soft-bodies will take a bit more than pushing a button and hitting “go”, and it is with this in mind that Stephan G takes a look at getting better interactions between the two in Cinema 4D showing how to get cloth and rigid body dynamics to interact with each other more realistically.

This is about interaction between cloth and rigid Bodies – which basically doesn´t work… so I show you an alternative

Stephan G does a side by side comparison of both methods in what he calls “the good way” and the “bad way” in Cinema 4D, showing a much better and clear result in his method, rather than using the cloth method, which in the end actually will use two different dynamic engines at work, and they don’t necessarily know about each other initially.
