Animating a Stylistic Assembly for a City Block in Cinema 4D Using Cloner Objects

By May 22, 2013March 31st, 2015No Comments

Through the simple use of the Cinema 4D Cloner Objects, Plane and Delay Effectors, Rich Aguilar walks through the process of creating a little animation that builds a stylistic looking city block of skyscrapers, revealing all the buildings by dropping them in.

In this tutorial we are going to be taking a closer look at cloner objects, Plain effectors, Delay effectors as well as a little bit of modeling

Taking inspiration from Philipp Pavlov’s reel, Rich breaks down how the animation could be created, building a simpler version to get the concepts across. If you are just getting started with Cinema 4D, this is a great example of how a few simple tools can come together to create something that is bigger than the sum of its parts.
