Cinema 4D | Creating Multi-Layerd Material to Animate a Burning Piece of Paper

By October 30, 2013March 31st, 2015No Comments

Demonstrating how using multi layer materials can create complex effects in Cinema 4d, Ben Watts from Ben Watts Design shows how to build a multi layered shader that can appear to alter or transform an object as the shader travels across the objects surface.

The cool part is that the burning paper effect is actually all done in one shader, and Ben uses TurbulenceFD and some particles to cover the fire effect and creating the ashes as the fire consumes the paper.
