Cinema 4D’s sculpting tools offer a great way shape and work organic models. The sculpt-tools also provide an avenue to incorporate them into a lot of other workflows. From creating blend shapes to baking attributes, to simply playing around, sculpt-based tools are an excellent thing to learn.

If you have never used them before, 3D Artist Matthew O’Neill (3dFluff) has a crash course primer for working with the tools in C4D. O’Neill covers a lot of the stuff that you need to know to get started and shows how you can bake out maps for other tasks in Cinema 4D.
