Using the New Texturing Workflow in Substance Designer 2.5

By June 2, 2012No Comments

Allegorithmic posts a look at how the new features in Substance Designer 2.5.1 might effect the texturing workflow. Here Allegorithmic shows how the Extraction Map feature can make texturing faster than “traditional” tools for that task.

You might want to check out a look at some of the new features in Allegorithmic’s Substance Designer 2.5 from a previous posting here.

Also of note, is that Allegorithmic has recently knocked the price of Substance Designer down drastically from $990.00 to $590.00.
Substance Designer represents Allegorithmic’s dedicated environment they call a texturing toolbox and is really the only software solution dedicated to texturing as a complete solution for creating high quality maps for most 3D pipelines.
