Mixing Live Action With a Time Freeze Effect Using Boujou and Maya

By August 30, 2013No Comments

Here, Tom Antos offers a look at creating a time freeze effect, where parts of the image are still in motion, coming up with a simple solution in just asking the screen talent to stop moving.

It’s simple, just ask all the actors to stop moving while you move the camera around them

What ends up really selling the piece, is the integration of having some 3D generated elements floating in the scene, and to do this, Tom tracks the shot with Boujou, and brings the tracked data into maya to create some drinks that frozen mid-spill.
