In Mehmet Sensoy’s Pattern Maker, there are plenty of controls to edit and modify base pattern shapes with Pattern Maker, and also has the ability to add your own custom spline or #D Volume to make your own patterns. Pattern Maker is available on C4DTools.net and supports Cinema 4D R13, R14, and R15 of course requiring the MoGraph Module to work.
