It was nearly a year ago that The Render Blog released the CG Generalist Course, which featured over two and a half hours of content on a wide variety of topics. The course shared knowledge in general computer graphics workflows and was based on a diverse topics that presented themselves as projects were picked apart.

Recently, the Render Blog has posted a teaser, announcing the launch of the CG Generalist Course, Volume 2, which is planned for release January 6, 2016. Judging from the teaser, it looks to be just as valuable a resource as the first version.

There is no mention of an outline of topics yet, nor pricing. The first version, or volume 1 CG Generalist, cost $39 and was a press found investment, if you used Maya, Arnold, and Python. If you haven’t yet, check out the CG Generalist Course volume 1 here, and stay tuned for volume 2.
