UVPaint Will Let You Go from Mari to C4D, To Octane

GameLogicDesign shows off another preview for the Paintbrush plugging for Cinema 4D… Which might be called UVPaint now? In any case, the video shows a unique UDIM based workflow that can take a textured model from Mari to Cinema 4D with multiple textures, then rendering it with Octane.

UVPaint is the update to GameLogicDesign’s projection painting brush that is built on top of C4D’s sculpting toolset. With it, you can paint directly in Cinema 4D’s OpenGL Viewport, adding paint directly to the material and layers in BodyPaint. The up and coming release will have new UDIM workflows, UV editing, Texture Remapping features, and Global Layers
