MagicaVoxel is a lightweight 3D 8-bit Voxel editor that has animation and rendering capabilities. What’s even more impressive, is the fact that it is free. The app doesn’t have too much going on for tools. It all looks rather simple.

Aaron demonstrates every Brush, Brush Mode and Brush Setting that MagicaVoxel has to offer. It sounds like a lot. In actuality, it only has 6 brushes to choose from. Each of which you can use in 1 of 4 different modes. Those are attach, erase, paint and move modes.
Brushes in the voxel editor can also have their own properties. This can affect how the brush operates on 3d models. If you haven’t done so already, check out MagicaVoxel. It’s fun and free and works on both MacOS and Windows systems.
