3D Artist Greg Hendrix (Polygon Pig) shares a way to create procedural polygon clouds using Side Effects Houdini. There are some helpful tips in here for working better building a specific system.
The technique uses the “updated way” to copy objects to points using randomized values in Houdini. The procedure comes as an alternative to using the Copy Stamp Node. The method that Greg shows here make it possible to use a For Each loop that will ultimately make the graph much more readable.
