Create Amazing 3D Volumetric Fractals in Ae With Flux

Mettle’s New Flux Plugin Creates 3D Fractal Animations Quickly and Easily.

It’s been a while since we’ve had a new plugin from Mettle. The dry-spell broke with the release of Flux, a 3D volumetric fractal flame plugin for Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro. The plugin creates fantastical fractal-scapes in 3D. Have a look at how it works as Charles Yeager walks through some of the features of Flux.

Yeager shows how to create fantastic fractal animations quickly — Ideal for creating space scenes and other visual effects elements, in After Effects. The plugin is GPU accelerated with Volumetric Rendering and supports After Effects 3D Cameras. You can customize the fractals using Force Field, Mutations, Iterations, Evolutions, Lights, Symmetry settings, and use the one-click preset panel.\ to get something started quickly. There is also support for Flat (Rectilinear), 360/VR Monoscopic and Stereoscopic O/U and SBS formatting.

Flux costs $229.00, you can learn more about it here, or download a free demo version.
