Cavalry Has Dynamic Rendering, Here is How it Works

Ian Waters shows how Cavalry can create many variations of the same render through Dynamic Rendering.

Motion designers have been starving. What’s worse, is that most don’t even know that they’ve been dying this whole time. Then along comes Cavalry, an app that shows everyone what is possible in a 2D animation application designed for motion designers and animators — And the tidbits that we’ve already seen of Cavalry has already made an enormous impact. One of the developers on the project, Ian Waters unveils another feature that should stun – Dynamic Rendering.

Waters says, “Cavalry has the ability to create many variations of the same render easily. We call this Dynamic Rendering.” With Cavalry you can tell it how many times you want a composition to render. Cavalry then gives you access to a “Dynamic Index” attribute that you can use to change things in your scene. That’s right, you can have Cavalry change things each of the renders, but only hit render once from one composition.

Ian explains how dynamic rendering works in his latest reveal article which you can read here. Versioning will never be the same!
