Morteza Ahmadi posts some new tutorials that show how to create landscapes with EasyTerrain 2.

Morteza Ahmadi’s recently released EasyTerrain 2 is a tool that allows users an easy (it’s right there in the name) set of tools to create and texture terrains in Autodesk Maya. If you want to see how EasyTerrain 2 works, Ahmadi recently made three tutorials that cover the basics so you can get up and running quickly.

The first tutorial looks into the basics for creating a terrain surface. The second shows the various types of handles that you can make in the terrain tool and how to use them. Finally, the last video shows how to paint texture masks to bookend the terrain workflow.
