By September 21, 2019No Comments

Farid Ghanbari shows how to create a realistic burning cigarette in C4D.

Check out this C4D tutorial that runs through how to create a burning cigarette effect in Cinema 4D, and render it using Redshift Renderer. Farid Ghanbari uses Voronoi fracture and volume re-meshing to build out the ash of the cigarette, plus some other great tricks to get the modeling just right.

The rest of the tutorial covers creating materials, shading, and render setup in Redshift. That includes creating the burning paper too. Cinema 4D’s volume builder is a fantastic tool for creating and working with intricate models. Have a look at what else volume meshing can create.
