Multi-Line Drawing With Tracer, Mospline, Python, and Xpresso

Ilir Beqiri shows an alternative technique for multi-line work in C4D, using Tracer and other tricks.

This mini-series of tutorials from Ilir Beqiri is turning out to be an interesting one. Beqiri is covering various methods to draw lines in C4D. The latest shows an alternative method for creating a single controlling slider with python and Xpresso.

Multi-Line Madness With Python and Xpresso.

The technique shows how to create lines using a single controller and no keyframes at all. To do this, Beqiri enlists the TRacer object, MoSpline, along with Python and Xpresso in Cinema 4D. “It involves writing some python code along with Xpresso,” Ilir says. “Don’t worry, it’s only a couple of lines, and they can easily be saved and reused as a preset.”
