Renamer for Maya Gets Even Better With a New Minimalist Mode

You might be asking, “How much better can a simple renaming tool get for Autodesk Maya?” Honestly, I couldn’t answer that question before I watched Erik Lehmann’s updates to RS Renamer. Erik has taken the popular Maya renaming tool to another level with version2.

RS Renamer New Look, New Features.

Rocket Square’s Renamer got a ground-up overhaul, reimagining the interface and what a renaming tool can do. RS Renamer brings many new naming features with it. 

“My main goal was that the tool could be used anywhere. To achieve this, I implemented an option to fully customize the default naming convention,” Lehmann says about version 2. “It also features a new Minimalist Mode, which keeps the interface entirely out of the way, but advanced naming functions are only a shortcut away and pop up right where your focus is.”

In fact, the minimalist mode is so minimal, it’s entirely out of the way until you need it.
