A new tutorial from Bruce Lee shows how he created the great cumulus clouds cloudscape in the latest Bifrost release video. Lee shows how he used Bifrost’s key new features like new volume, scattering, and field nodes.

Lee walks through his node setup and shows how he used the scattering tools to create a veritable ocean of clouds. We’ve seen the volume tools in Bifrost, creating simple cloudscapes using a fractal noise field. That was by Morteza Ahmadi. Lee’s version is more involved and offers a lot more detail.
