How to Create Procedural Cartoon Skin Shader With Octane in C4D

By February 17, 2021No Comments

New Plastic goes over how to create skin materials for cartoon characters using Octane.

A little while ago, new plastic had a look at how to create realistic skin with C4D and Octane in an “ultimate guide” walkthrough. Now, a new tutorial covers how to create cartoon skin shaders in Octane.

The process has many the same elements as realistic skin, the only difference being that it relies a lot less on image maps and more on a procedural workflow. “We’ll create light skin, dark skin, and skin with moles. Since there are no texture maps, this material will be fully procedural!”
