Lukasz Biernat shares a free plugin that will display the speed of anything in Maya.

Recently, Techincal Previs Artist Lukasz Biernat posted a free plugin for Maya, and it’s something I didn’t even know that I wanted. SpeedLocator will display the speed of any moving object in Maya in km/h or m/s. How cool is that?

SpeedLocator is a user-defined custom MPxLocatorNode that can show the speed for anything that moves in Maya. The plugin is easy to install and use, and it’s free to download. Visit the page here.
