Triplanar projections are a great way to slap a shader or materials onto a scene without even having UVs. One of the latest additions to the Arnold Triplanar node is the ability to set the input to a per-axis orientation.
The new setting allows you to place textures on either the x,y, or z-axis, all with their input. Here, Arnold Rendering Specialist Lee Griggs shows how you can easily use Triplanar to create a snowy street scene.
