Working with the MASH Signal Node in Maya to Create Animation Procedurally

Reimagine Fx covers working with the MASH Signal Node in Maya to quickly create motion graphics-like procedural animation.

Over the last little while, Amar Shinde (Reimagine Fx) has been diving into individual MASH nodes. This new tutorial looks into working with MASH and the Signal Node.

The Signal Node can animate the points in a network using either 4D Perlin Noise or a Trigonometric function, making it ideal for pushing objects around in a scene.

Since Amar Shinde (Reimagine Fx) oddly doesn’t make his YouTube video available elsewhere, watch the Signal Node tutorial here.
