Working with 3D is one thing, but creating realtime assets is something else. Process and efficiency reign high when it comes to making game-ready assets. While the models and wires are sparse and sound, much of the details come from the texture maps.

In a new tutorial, character artist and 3D generalist Srdjan Orelj covers how to add detail to a character’s face and how to bake out the proper maps. “This is a new method, and I will be using Texturing XYZ maps, Zbrushm Wrap3, Maya, and Photoshop!” Orelj says about the process.
