Jakob Wagner Shares Nulls From Paths Extended Script That Can Control Path Handles as Well as Points
Create Nulls From Paths Extended is a script from Copenhagen based Crunchy‘s Jakob Wagner. The script takes the bundled After Effects Create Nulls from Paths script and adds on to it, with some helpful new features.
The extended script adds a fourth button and a couple of extra controls. The Added button lets you “reverse engineer” a path from a selection of nulls… The opposition to creating nulls from points. You can place some nulls in the scene and the button will create a path with points where the null’s anchors are located.
Also in the Extended edition are two checkboxes that will give you more control over the bezier handles of the path. One lets you create and link-up nulls wherever the bezier handles are, and the other lets you replace those nulls with a more intuitive “locator” that visually look just like how the original handles do. This will give you the option to also key the handles along side the points of the path, for extra control.
The script is available freely, from Crunchy who also make the motion graphics oriented Cloners + Effectors After Effects tool.

By accident Jakob posted a previous version it seems. The link in the YouTube video has the updated and working version: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kjkn69rksqhphw8/Create%20Nulls%20From%20Paths%20Extended.jsx?dl=1
