Lasse Clausen Shares a Script That Lets You Use a Shortcut for C4D’s Focus-Picker

3D Artist Lasse Clausen posts another super-helpful Cinema 4D script that will allow users to set a hotkey for the focus-picker. PickFocusDistance adds shortcut functionality to the focus-picker for your camera in Cinema 4D.

With more and more artists using GPU enabled renderers means that workflows are changing. With near-live updates in Renderview windows, third-party tools like Redshift and Octane are changing the ways that we work. PickFocusDistance is one of those particular workflow tweaks to have. With the script, you can quickly pick and adjust the focus and see the updates live in the render-view, rather than popping back and forth between windows for the focus picker setting.
