Yanobox Unveils Nodes 3 With a New Replicator and Animation Module

Nodes 3 Wants to be the Definitive Way to Create Motion Graphics in After Effects.

Yanobox releases a brand new version for Nodes, their plugin for creating generative motion graphics within a variety of hosts including After Effects. Nodes 3 lets you create procedural geometry, connected particles, and organic style effects – much of the stuff you would see in “fake user interface” (FUI) animations and visualizations.

Nodes 3 New Replicator

Nodes 3 now has a powerful new replicator which adds a unique 3D effect to replicate connected graphics and animated scenes onto other geometry, like models and animation brought over from Cinema 4D. Nodes makes it simple to easy to order and animate the replicated elements on 2D or 3D primitives like circles, spheres or even matrices.

Smart Preset Browser

Also in this release is a new preset browser for all hosts. The smart preset browser offers a quick way to find items in the 300 animated presets and templates that ship with Nodes. The new browser lets you perform category and keyword searches, and load the results to After Effects with a click.

Availability of Nodes 3

It’s been nearly five years since the major release of Nodes 2, and Nodes 3 unfortunately still doesn’t have a Windows counterpart and is still only for MacOS systems. The Nodes 3 plugin works with After Effects, Final Cut Pro X, Motion and Premiere Pro. Visit Yanobox to learn more about the release.
