Check out this latest tidbit from Youtuber “Frosty” that shows a simple way you can use to keep scattered points from popping in and out on a deformed mesh. The technique uses an undeformed mesh as a sample location.
Then it’s a matter of constructing those points into an Amino object and re-orienting the scattered elements using Orient Points by Geometry.
