Jonas Pilz shows how to create a Pyro material to instantly make a Pyro sim look great.

New to Maxon Cinema 4D is a new Pyro system that lets you easily create fire, smoke, and explosions in Cinema 4D, which can simulate on the GPU or CPU. The system works from Pyro tags allowing you to emit smoke and fire from any Cinema 4D object.

In this Quick Tip,  Maxon Training Team’s Jonas Pilz (@jonaspilz3d) shows how to render Pyro in Cinema 4D using Redshift.

The tutorial covers making the volume data from the simulation available in the scene for rendering. Also covered is how to create a Pyro Volume material to immediately make the simulation look good.
