How to Create a Lot of Dynamic Chains in Cinema 4D

3DBonfire shows how to create massive amounts of chains and chain dynamics in Cinema 4D using RBD.

Over the last few videos, 3DBonfire (Markus Gonser) is experimenting with the newly revamped dynamics systems in Cinema 4D. The latest tutorial in the bunch shows how to create a lot of chains and animate those using rigid body dynamics in C4D.

With newer versions of C4D, rigid bodies are part of the unified simulation system so that you can combine rigid objects easily with ropes, cloth, balloons, and softbodies.

A previous tutorial from Gonser showed how to knock over many Dominos in Cinema 4D by creating a rigid body dynamics simulation.
