Expresso Mechanic TV shows how to make a working Hovercraft using soft and rigid dynamics in Cinema 4D.
This new tutorial from Expresso Mechanic TV covers rigging a little Hovercraft model in Maxon Cinema 4D. The tutorial shows how to use Soft and Rigid body dynamics and a small amount of Xpresso to create the rig. A Connector in Cinema 4D brings the dynamics together as a single object.
The Hovercraft gets its power from a standard Wind object. “It all works beautifully, and the animation is a joy to watch – fantastically demonstrates what is possible with the new Rigid Body dynamics!” Julian says about the results.
